1. What do I need to know before visiting the training site?

This site looks very similar to the AMTA website but is entirely separate from the AMTA Member Section. You have to register on the site before being able to take a course. You are not able to log on this site with your AMTA user name and password. A separate user name and password is required. The rate is $12 per contact hour for AMTA members and $15 per contact hour for nonmembers. You can find more details on the Information page of this site.

2. My computer is a bit old, but I can get on the Internet. Will I have a problem taking an online course from AMTA?

Before registering, scroll down to the middle of the Welcome page and check to see that the PC or Mac computer software and browser you use are compatible with the training site. To test your system without paying for a course, take the Demo (demonstration) course first. Click on the Demo button on the Welcome page tool bar.

For special assistance, please contact ceonline@amtamassage.org. For technical support, such as difficulty accessing any of the site pages, contact Certilearn Support. Please include your User Name on the form if you have already registered.

4. Where do I get my course certificate?

When you successfully complete a course and pass the final exam, you will be prompted to view your customized certificate. You can print it out then or at a later time.

To print your certificate, follow these instructions:

If you are not on the training site, log on and go to your list of courses.
Click on Grade Book (on the left toolbar) and click on the course for which you want the certificate.
Click on the “Print Certificate” link, located just above the Grade Book box.
Choose the Landscape (horizontal) feature on your computer’s Page Set Up before printing the certificate. The contents print out better in that format.

5. Will my CEUs automatically be sent to my member record?

At this time, continuing education contact hours are compiled and forwarded to AMTA Member Services once a month.
